ROVE is a life-saving device designed to combat opioid overdoses. Developed as a sub-brand of the existing NARCAN product, the project explores how branding and product design can reduce stigma while encouraging people to carry and use overdose-reversal tools publicly. By focusing on bravery, approachability, and community, the identity reframes the device as something visible, accessible, and empowering.

Created in collaboration with Fashion and Industrial Design students at the University of Cincinnati, the project explored the full ecosystem surrounding the device—from product form and packaging to branding and consumer-facing communication. Designed with festival environments in mind, the system prioritizes portability, clarity, and instant recognition in high-energy public settings.

CLARITY IN CRITICAL MOMENTS

The identity system was developed to balance urgency with approachability. Through a combination of clear visual language, recognizable symbolism, and accessible product design, the project reframes a critical medical device as something people feel empowered to carry, share, and use.
