Hi! I’m JP, a communication designer based in Cincinnati and a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP Program.
I currently work at Coffee Emporium, where I design across social, packaging, web, menus, and branded merchandise while supporting brand strategy, marketing campaigns, and in-store experiences.
Previously, I’ve worked as a Co-op at Durham Studio and Brightwild, contributing to brand identity systems, naming, messaging, digital and physical touchpoints, and client-facing work across hospitality, lifestyle, and place-based brands.
My background in fine arts shaped how I think and work—hands-on, detail-driven, and concept-first. I love projects that blend strategy with craft, whether that’s building a visual identity, designing environmental graphics, refining UX/UI systems, or creating tactile print pieces that feel intentional and human.
Outside of design, I’m usually exploring the city, tracking down great coffee, traveling when I can, or being creatively supervised by my cats, Billy & Zeke.
